It seems that most people are unwilling to know their blood pressure and blood glucose numbers, as it normally turns out to be a negative: ‘we don’t want to know the issues or hear bad news.’ There was a need to raise awareness of monitoring our health and not to avoid it.

Monitoring is essential to get an accurate picture of our health. Omron decided to turn that around by visualizing health for people in a different way and showing the beauty of their own health.

Six-contemporary artists interpreted the beauty of health through art. This generated a body of work, which was used to design product messages, posters, dramatic new gift packaging and merchandising.

An exhibition was held where people were invited to view and share the beauty of health. In one week, 20,000 people voted and shared their favorite images online, generating 1.8 million impressions through social media.
